PANews 9月12日消息，据 Bitcoin.com News 报道，加拿大金融机构监管局（OSFI）指出，代币化存款与传统存款“在法律上没有区别”，金融产品或服务采用的底层技术不决定其法律性质。OSFI 表示，金融机构可依据现行金融监管法律开展代币化存款业务，无需制定额外监管规定。金融机构及代表其开展相关活动的第三方，均需确保业务符合适用法律法规。OSFI 要求金融机构在推出新产品或服务前，提前与负责监管的 OSFI 主管沟通，并建议在上线前寻求法律意见。OSFI 负责监管近 350 家金融机构和 1200 项养老金计划。
